- Eustachian tube dysfunction
- OME
- Middle ear malignancy
- Complications of CSOM. CSOM is usually not associated with pain. Otalgia is suggestive of a complication of chronic otitis media. Only two complications are known to cause pain, namely acute mastoiditis and Dural involvement.
